I’ve been working as a SQL Server Developer since 2010 & over that time I’ve found that the best way to get to grips with a new concept, technology or process is to write about it. So I’ve started this blog as a place to document the new things I’m learning about SQL Server & other related technologies.

My aims are to keep a record of my progress, have a place to come to refresh my memory about the things I’ve learned, & share them with others if they prove useful.

On the progress front, I’ve passed the following exams and have gained my MCSA certification:

  • Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (70-461)
  • Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Databases (70-462)
  • Implementing a Data Warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (70-463)
